Simon and I first met in Crete on a business trip in 2015. A year and a half later, we happened to work together in China. Only a few weeks ago, he visited me in Australia. I always say travelling and living beyond borders make the world a smaller place… our friendship proves it!

It had been more than 20 years since Simon’s last visit to Australia where he lived as a teenager. Back then, he faced a significant BeBeyondBorders shock while trying to become integrated and accepted in a new and different environment.
