Just over 10 years ago, I moved abroad for the first time. Since then, I have lived in six countries and travelled to 46.

Conscious of the fact that – unlike me – not all those who live beyond borders have chosen to do so, I have decided to challenge myself and take this opportunity to raise funds for the Refugee Migrant Children Centre (RMCC).

On 7 April 2018, I will be walking a marathon in Canberra, Australia. That’s right, a M.A.R.A.T.H.O.N… 42.2km, 26 miles!! Together with the gorgeous Olivia Ryan, who was born in Ireland and also lives beyond borders, we hope to complete the distance in around 7 (long) hours. Wish us luck!

Finishing the Melbourne half-marathon in October 2017

Please, please, please, help me to support the Refugee Migrant Children Centre (RMCC) by donating today as much or as little as you can.

RMCC is a beautiful charity who empowers refugee and migrant children and youth to create their own opportunities. They provide tailored mentoring programs in four focus areas: education, identity and belonging, life skills and mental health and wellbeing.

Activities organised by RMCC

Their mission, which is totally aligned with what I stand for and believe in, is to make Australia feel like home to thousands of refugee and migrant children and youth.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much in advance for your donations. Together, little by little, step by step, chapter by chapter, we will make the world a smaller and happier place.
